This week we finished a long-gestating project for a major drinks company, all about how to win with packaging. It gave some fascinating insights into how to get branding right, especially in the FMGs category, which have informed the way we now approach our animations, treating each one as a brand in its own right.

One of the joys of the kinds of work we do at Napoleon Creative is that most of our work ‘explains’ something, be it a new product, service, or a complex case study illustrating a client’s success. We’ve learned so much from our clients that’s informed our workflow, the way we work with clients, even the way we approach our creative thinking.

Napoleon Creative is definitely a stronger company for getting glimpses into the research and development departments of so many great blue chip companies!

It also highlights the importance of maintaining your brand, even if you’re a freelancer. When you’re out there looking for work, you’re often selling to people who’ve never heard of you, so you need a clear ‘brand’ of your own to make sure you communicate your values and abilities quickly and easily.
