Here’s an interesting article about giving great service, an important part of customer experience. The standout quote came from a customer service manager from John Lewis:
“You can take an intelligent person and train them to be polite. But you can’t train a person to be nice.”
Having great customer service, ie not the skills you have but the way you use them with an employer, is essential to getting regular work. When you’re writing your CV, it’s hard to show how you give great service. No words on a paper can really express the way you are in preson. However, there are ways to get this across.
