Ever feel like you’re constantly working but never get anything done? Me too. I can spend a whole day doing hundreds of little tasks, and still feel I’m no further forward. Even writing this blog post I’ve been distracted by two emails and a webpage flashing at me.

I discovered the Unstuck iPad app a year or so ago, and never really got to grips with it. However, their newsletter is very good, with stories of people like you who are stuck in the careers or a project, and Unstuck has helped them shake themselves out of it.

Having taken their Procastination quiz, I know I’m a Pinball Procrastinator. So I have too many ideas, too many projects pinging about in my head to concentrate on one. So I’m going to try their tips today:

1) Only put the high priority tasks on your tick list (that’s after writing this post, which if I’m fair shouldn’t be a priority at all!)

2) Don’t wait for perfect – so don’t wait till you have the perfectly clear desk, or the perfect free hour, or the perfect track on Spotify. And don’t wait for it to be perfect before progressing – in my case I’m not going to proof this post. I’m going to trust you get my gist without sinking another 10 mins making minor tweaks!

Take their test, look at their tips, check out the case studies. You might find something in there that will help you spring to action today!
